Former Managing Director of Flinders Mines Limited for over ten years from its conception.

Dr Wills has had experience on four ASX listed boards, two as Managing Director. He has been involved in four successful IPOs and the last capital raising he carried out for Flinders Mines was for $55 million.

Geologist with 40 years’ experience in multi-commodity exploration, mine operations and corporate management.

Closely involved in the discovery & evaluation of seven significant economic mineral deposits including with the team that located the Argyle diamond deposit in WA.

Others included Thalanga & Waterloo, QLD (base metals), Murchison, WA and Challenger, SA (gold), Burekup, WA (mineral sands) and Blacksmith, WA (iron ore).

Associate of the Royal School of Mines and past Chairman of the Adelaide Branch, and a Fellow of, the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Also immediate past Chairman of the SA Division of the Geological Society of Australia.

Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide – teaching a course in economic and mine geology.


Managing Director

Substantial international experience in discovery and evaluation of diamondiferous kimberlites.

Has discovered and evaluated new diamondiferous kimberlites and lamproites in Western & South Australia.

26 years mineral exploration and evaluation experience – predominantly in diamonds.

Qualifications include a Degree in Applied Geology and a Degree and Masters in Economic Geology. Steven is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute for Mining and Metallurgy.

He has worked as a diamond exploration geologist with Juka Mine Management (1987-1990), Livre Holdings (1990-1994) and Diamond Ventures (1994-1998).

After 1998, Steven consulted to a variety of diamond companies worldwide including BHP Billiton, North Australian Diamonds, Flinders Diamonds, Tawana Resources, Ashton Mining, Southstar Diamonds and Kimberley Resources.

Commercialisation of the Synroc process for safe storage of high-level nuclear waste, controlled temperature & atmosphere transport systems & beneficiation of low rank coals.

Ex-Adviser with a national share broking firm.

Nick currently consults to various public and private companies.

Professor JOHN FODEN

Non-Executive Director

Former Head of the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Adelaide.

Currently Professor of Geology and Geochemistry University of Adelaide.

Has been closely involved with active diamond exploration and research since 2005.

He is a Fellow of and was the National President of the Geological Society of Australia between 2002 and 2004. Through association with active explorers, he has been closely involved with diamond exploration and research since 2005.

John’s PhD consisted of a study of volcanic rocks in eastern Indonesia.

He is involved in undergraduate teaching, postgraduate supervision and research, and has published over 80 scientific papers.
